The 5G and Edge Cloud for Smart Communities action The aim of the 5G and Edge Cloud for Smart Communities call is to support the early deployment of 5G-based systems that enable use cases for public services of general interest.

Speakers from the European Commission’s Directorate‑General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (CONNECT) and the Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA) presented in detail the call topics, the evaluation steps, and the grant award process.
